Eastern Tides 

 

 

Hello, I'm Jennifer Blacklock. I was born in Cape John, Nova Scotia. It was there, as a young child I became passionate about being in nature and developed my love for the ocean. Following my high school graduation from Cobequid Educational Centre in Truro, NS I spent several years travelling, working and living in Asia. I became fascinated with eastern culture and philosophy. Taking these interests into the classroom, I completed my medical training at the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in Nelson BC. In 2008 I moved home to Truro to practice acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). I have been an active member with the Nova Scotia Association of Acupuncturists since 2008.  Acupuncture, herbs and Qi Gong are the main focus of my practice here at Eastern Tides.

 

I am honored to have worked with many different practioners over the years, and currently I am proud to share the space here at Eastern Tides with Robyn Callaghan B.Sc. Naturopathic Doctor, Gordon Tees DTCM, RAc. Ivan Drouin M.A. Registered Psychologistand and Peggy Maguire Registered Massage Therapist. Together we strive to offer comprehensive heath care.
